    This may occur due to several reasons. Airlines generally restrict the number of seats that may be sold at a discounted fare. Those seats may have already been sold out by the time you accessed the system. Airlines also keep changing the prices and we have no control on airline pricing as well.

  • No. A nonstop flight operates between two airports without calling at any other airports en route. For instance a direct flight from London to New York may have one or more touchdowns en route, although these are not shown on the ticket. In some cases passengers may be asked to leave the aircraft or even pass through immigration at these touchdown
  • A chartered flight is when you or a group of people “rent” the plane to go somewhere. A scheduled flight is a commercial flight that the airlines schedules and sells tickets to the public. Basically, chartered flights are those in which an entire aircraft (usually a small jet) is reserved for a specific purpose: corporate travel, organizational travel, medical emergency, etc. Scheduled flights are those with which most of us are most familiar: flights at a specific time with tickets available generally and sold through travel agents or directly by the commercial airlines.
  • An electronic ticket or e-ticket is used to represent the purchase of a seat on a passenger airline, usually through a website or by telephone. This form of airline ticket has rapidly replaced the old multi-layered paper tickets (from close to zero to 100% in about 10 years) and became mandatory for IATA members as of June 1, 2008. During the last few years, where paper tickets were still available, airlines frequently charged extra for issuing them. Once a reservation is made, customers usually print out a copy of their receipt which contains the record locator or reservation number and the e-ticket number.
  • If you have booked a scheduled flight, you will receive an email acknowledgment from us shortly afterwards that we have received the booking. When the booking reaches our ticketing staff, the card details are checked and payment taken. When your tickets have been issued, you receive a further email showing your ticket numbers.
  • You can book with us on behalf of a friend, relative, employee, etc. Please note that we will require the name of the cardholder (as it appears on the card) and correct billing address to which card statements are sent. We do need latest Statement, scanned copy of the both sides of debit or Credit Card being used for payment of flights and proof of address. If this information is not provided it could delay the issue of your tickets. We take cardholder security very seriously and we reserve the right to reject any booking if we are not satisfied that the cardholder has given permission for the transaction.
  • An open-jaw ticket is an airline ticket in which the traveler returns from a city other than the one he or she arrived, or in which the final destination is not the same as the original departure city. The trip between these two cities is then made over land, sea or with a separately booked flight.
  • An itinerary containing an ARNK (arrival unknown, pronounced ‘arunk’) segment is one in which the traveler arrives at destination A but departs out of destination B. Since the arrival to destination B is unknown, hence the name arrival unknown. It is similar to an open-jaw ticket except that there is no variation in the point of origin.
  • Economy class is the lowest / cheapest class of seating in air travel. Some airlines have renamed their economy class for marketing purposes. Such names include British Airways’ World Traveler, Kingfisher Airlines’ Kingfisher Class, United Airlines’ Economy/Economy Plus, Air Canada’s Hospitality/Hospitalize, Philippine Airlines’ Fiesta Class (although Economy Class is widely used), LAN Tourist Class, and Air France’s Voyageur. The seat pitch of domestic economy class seats range from 29 to 36 inches (74 to 91 cm), usually 30–32 in (76–81 cm), and 30 to 36 in (76 to 91 cm) for international economy class seats.

    Premium Economy, a travel class offered on some airlines, is a simple upgrade to the Economy class. Some airlines may designate an entire economy class as premium.p>

  • Business class (also known as executive class or upper class) is a high quality second-tier travel class available on some commercial airlines. Its level of accommodation is higher than economy class and domestic first class but lower than international first class. However, many international airlines offer only business class as the highest level of service.
  • First class is the most luxurious class of accommodation on a airplane. It is usually much more expensive than business class and economy class, and offers the best amenities. The first-class section of a fixed-wing passenger aircraft is typically located in the very front of the aircraft. However, many commercial carriers have completely removed first class altogether from their international flights, only offering business class as their highest level of international service. First class passengers are usually granted access to lounges at airports while they wait for their flights.
  • or many flights, we are happy to accept a deposit if you book more than 10 weeks in advance of travel. The amount of the deposit will be advised at the time of booking. The full balance would then be payable 10 weeks before departure.

  • If you wish to make a name change, please contact us and we will try to help. Most scheduled airlines do NOT permit name changes. If a name change is possible, additional charges normally apply.
  • If you do not turn up for your outbound flight, most airlines now automatically record this as a ‘no-show’ and cancel any onward or return flights. In some cases it may be possible to keep the return flight – call us and we will confirm the airline’s policy.
  • With refunds on scheduled flights, we often have to apply to the airline for authority to refund; the time taken varies between airlines but can often take 10 weeks or more.
  • Most airlines require that the first name and surname on your ticket match the first name and surname on your passport. Please remember that it is not possible to include spaces or punctuation marks in names on tickets, so do not worry if these do not show on the ticket. If there is a spelling error on your tickets, or if the first name and surname shown do not match your passport, let us know as soon as you can – we may be able to help.   • The majority of airlines simply require that the first name and surname shown on your ticket match the first name and surname shown on your passport
  • For scheduled flight bookings, tickets are issued as soon as we have verified your card details and taken payment. This is usually within 3 working days of the booking being made. E-tickets will then be sent to your email address.
  • If you lose your tickets, notify us as soon as possible by emailing us, or calling us. We will do our best to help. It is often possible to arrange for replacement tickets tobe issued at the airport, but there may be an additional charge for this service
  • For scheduled flights, we recommends that you reconfirm each flight 72hrs prior to departure. For some airlines this is a compulsory requirement, but it is a good idea anyway as it gives us a chance to advise you of any last minute changes to your itinerary. To reconfirm your booking, you can call us or email our Sales Department. We also recommend that you do the same on the return by contacting your airline locally.
  • Baggage allowances do vary according to the airline you are traveling with and the destination. The following is a guideline only – exceptions do exist. Most airlines still use the weight system, allowing you to check-in 20kgs of luggage (economy class). The allowance is normally 30kgs in business class and 40kgs in first class. Scheduled transatlantic flights often still use the ‘piece’ system, normally allowing each passenger to check-in two pieces of luggage (maximum weight per piece varies between 20-32kgs). For health and safety reasons items of luggage weighing over 32kgs will not be accepted. Infants are not normally entitled to a luggage allowance. In addition, each passenger may carry one piece of hand luggage, subject to certain weight and size restrictions. Certain articles may not be carried in hand baggage. Excess baggage is normally charged for, and is only carried subject to space being available on your flight.
